About these terms

These terms apply when you use www.mileon.ai, including its forms, booking calendar and client portal (together, “the website”). The website is operated by Liquid Ledger Pty Ltd (ABN 72 646 721 931), trading as Mileon (“Mileon”, “we”, “us” or “our”), based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

Work we do for clients is governed by a separate written agreement, such as a proposal, engagement letter or services agreement. If that agreement and these terms conflict, the agreement applies.

Information, not advice

The website gives general information about Mileon, our services and how we work. It isn’t legal, financial, tax, clinical or other professional advice, and it doesn’t take your circumstances into account. Please get advice about your own situation before acting on it.

Examples, illustrations and sample figures explain how our services work. They aren’t records of client work unless we say so, and they don’t promise a particular result.

We work to keep the website accurate and current, but content can change and may contain errors. We may update or remove content at any time.

Billing optimisation reports

We offer our free billing optimisation report to general practices at our discretion, and we confirm with each practice whether the report fits before any work starts.

  • The report is based on information the practice gives us, and its accuracy depends on that information.
  • It identifies possible billing gaps for the practice to review. It doesn’t confirm that a service is eligible for a Medicare benefit or that an item can be claimed, and it doesn’t guarantee any recovery or increase in revenue.
  • It isn’t clinical, financial, tax or legal advice. The practice and its practitioners remain responsible for their clinical decisions and for their billing and claiming decisions.
  • Before any practice data is shared, we agree the scope and data handling with the practice.

Enquiries and bookings

Sending an enquiry or booking a call doesn’t oblige you or us to go further. We may decline an enquiry, and we may need to reschedule a call. Paid work starts only when we have agreed its scope, fees and terms in writing.

Please don’t send patient records, other confidential information or passwords through our website forms or ordinary email.

Our booking calendar is provided by Calendly. When you use it, Calendly’s terms and privacy policy also apply.

Client portal

The client portal is for our clients and the people they authorise. We set up each account, and you sign in with a single-use link sent to your email address.

  • Your access is personal. Don’t share sign-in links or forward sign-in emails.
  • Tell us straight away at team@mileon.ai if you think someone else has used your access.
  • Information in the portal is confidential between us and your organisation. Our agreement with your organisation governs it.
  • We may suspend or end access to protect the portal, when you no longer work with the client, or when an engagement ends.
  • Payments made in the portal are processed by Stripe under its terms.

Intellectual property

We or our licensors own the website and its content, including its text, design, graphics, images, software, the Mileon name and logo, and our brand assets. You may view and print pages for your own information, share links to them, and use them to consider working with us. Otherwise, you need our written permission to copy, adapt, publish or commercially use our content or brand, except as the law allows.

Our brand workspace and other password-protected areas are confidential. We give access for a specific purpose. Don’t copy or share their content without our written permission.

Ownership of work we create for a client is set out in our agreement with that client. If you send us feedback or suggestions about the website or our services, we may use them without any obligation to you.

Acceptable use

When you use the website, you must not:

  • break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
  • try to get into areas you’re not authorised to use, such as the client portal, staff workspace or brand workspace, or get around security measures;
  • interfere with or disrupt the website, including with malicious code or excessive requests;
  • give false information or pretend to be someone else;
  • use our forms to send spam or unsolicited advertising; or
  • copy our content in bulk or scrape the website, except as our robots.txt file allows.

Search engines and AI assistants may crawl, index and summarise our public pages as our robots.txt file allows.

If you find a security issue, please tell us at team@mileon.ai. Don’t access, change or keep data that isn’t yours.

Third-party services and links

The website uses third-party services, such as Calendly for bookings, Stripe for payments, and Google, Meta and OpenAI for analytics and advertising. Their own terms and privacy policies also apply when you use them. Our privacy policy explains what information they receive.

Links to other websites are for convenience. We don’t control those websites and aren’t responsible for their content or practices.

Availability

We aim to keep the website available, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, for example for maintenance or security.

Your rights and our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can’t be excluded. Where the law lets us limit our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee, and the services aren’t of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use, our liability is limited to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.

Subject to the paragraph above, and to the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss or damage, including indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of or reliance on the website’s general information, or from the website being unavailable. This doesn’t limit liability for our fraud or wilful misconduct. Our liability for client work is governed by our agreement with the client.

If you misuse the website

If you breach these terms or use the website unlawfully, you’re responsible for the reasonable loss and costs we incur as a direct result, reduced to the extent that we caused or contributed to it. You aren’t responsible for our indirect or consequential loss.

Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information, including through the website. It isn’t part of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the website, our services or the law. Updated terms apply from the date shown at the top of this page, to use of the website after that date, and not to anything that happened before it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the courts that can hear appeals from them.

General

  • If any part of these terms is invalid or can’t be enforced, the rest continues to apply.
  • If we don’t enforce a right under these terms straight away, we can still enforce it later.
